jford Veteran Joined: Dec 2000 Posts: 12,806 Pensacola, Florida	Yep, and agree that they should take a good look at the other features that should be song-specific. Global is fine as a starting point, and each new song can certainly inherit those settings, but once a song is changed to a different setting, those settings should apply to that song going forward, even as a new song starts its life with the default global settings. Clearly that means some changes to the MGU/SGU file format (which based on history, PGMusic would still make compatible with older versions of the software, so there's that challenge). Just my $0.02 worth. Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
