OK, here's what's going on. When I first began working on a piece, I left its choruses set to 3. But as I was working at it, I added in about 200% more material, and wound up with a piece of music that is now over 12 minutes long. I realized that I should probably have a long and short version of this tune, where the short version would be only one chorus long. So up at the Choruses section I just changed it from 3 to 1. Then I went to the bottom of the file and at the last bar before the ending, I indicated this to be the end of the chorus. There, that's been taken care of, I thought.

Wrong. What's happening now is all the instruments except for the Melody continue to play their rhythm trackiness all the way until bar 2 of the Ending. I would like them to stop and just hold a chord or note or whatever at the beginning of bar 1 of the Ending. My question is, is there an easy way to get BiaB to do this, or am I going to have to load each track into the Soloist track, edit it there, then copy it back to its original track? Actually, now that I think about it, what I'll have to do is copy the final bars from the actual end of the piece to this new ending, then get rid of the other two choruses. What a PITA. But if that's the way I've gotta do it, then so be it, although for future reference I'd like to know if there's an easier way.
