You will need to use audio cords, i.e mic cords or guitar cords. Take the audio outs from your external module and run cords from it to the audio ins on your audio interface, i.e. sound card. If you don't have an audio interface then you must connect the module audio out to your computer audio ins, usually labeled mic in: note it is best to use an audio interface. Then just play your MIDI while recording the external module's audio using Cakewalk.
