LOL! Mario. I liked the scale - "songwriters think outside the box" LOL! That song is one of my all time favorite breakup songs. Interesting quick facts - it was a two writer co-write, took three months to write, was written to a specfic melody that was not changed during the write, has both inner and outer rhymes that fall on the same melody notes. It was actually written from a girlfriend he had left behind's point of view. He steps into her emotion and sings it as if she had left him to pursue her dreams. Great example of never let the actual truth stand in the way of a good song.
