Great, great singing as always and some great lyric lines. I especially liked the verse about the preacher not knowing him. That will be true for most of us, I think. It seemed to me that a few lines had too many words in them for the melody but that's not a big deal. (I could be wrong, I often am.) Really enjoyed it.

Mark (and rayc): Still need to go back and give this a really close listen. On casual replays—e.g., playing it in the car—I’m not picking it up (no pun intended!). So need to strap on the earphones and see if I can figure it out.

Great job on this, the vocals (EXCELLENT !) are delivered just as they should be on a song of this nature.
All round this was a beautiful song and a really decent write, these type of songs are not easy to do, but do it is what you have done here .
Loved it to me your voice gives this a feel that puts me in mind of the band Smokie.

I really like the overall sound of the song. I think it's a lovely collaboration. Thanks for sharing! I definitely felt the song had a very overall friendly feel to it.
