Hi Robert,

When it comes to songs based on lyrics from the impressionistic wing of the songwriting gallery, you always impress. The images that you create through words unfold in a manner that is both memorable and creative. You have definitely created a niche for yourself in this forum.

I enjoyed where your music and words took me with this song. Thank you for the journey.

Noel

Robert (Angels),

Really nice, engaging vocal—very warm. LIke how you’ve structured the chorus—makes those last two lines (beautifully written) really shine. Well put together and smooth listen! Nicely done!

My best to you,

Deej

Oh, upon my word. Listened to it twice. What am I to say? Sensitive writing to the nth degree, both musically and lyrically. Anything I'd add here would spoil the beauty ... thank you for sharing this, it's so hard not to cry on hearing this song and I don't cry easy. It's an unreserved "wow - I'm speechless - well done" from me.

Not at all, Robert!
I do like your songs, each one I listen to is great.
But don't walk beside your shoes now. Stay humble...

Your lyrics are brilliant, beautiful bloody poetry. The chorus sounds so lovingly haunting. Excellent style choice.

Robert, this has such a wonderful feel to it! Your work in that chorus ( the melody, chord structure, vocals, everything) is absolutely masterful! I feel that chorus section is some of the finest work you have ever presented here! Thanks, Torrey.

Your sound is unique in the best of ways. Someone could blindfold me and cue up one of your songs and I would know, without question, it was a Robert Cordrey song and vocal within ten seconds. And then I would smile with that observation.

That was a wonderful listen ... you are so very talented. Wishing you the very best ...

Alan,
That is so very kind of you, sir- thank you!!

Very, very nice song with a heck of a chorus (if I may use this expression refering to an angels' song).

Love your tender singing a lot!!!!

Take care,

Stefan

Stefan,
I like that- a guy who sings such happy, fun songs can appreciate my balladeering.
Thank you for commenting.

I wouldn't change a thing here. Thanks for sharing!

Not repetitive at all. Perhaps it is a thin line between a signature sound and repetitive but you thread the needle
perfectly as your sound is there but always in a manner with unique nuances, etc. This is no exception.

And, man, does that hook/title ever pull you in from the get go.

The lyric is provocative, in a good way, and so well written.

Your vocal nails the feel.

Excellent!

J&B,
That title line came from a poor translation on the subtitles of a foreign tv show
(yes, I always keep a notepad handy!).
I really appreciate your listens and supportive comments over the years- If I were getting repetitive, you`d know better than most.

Exceptional. Unpredictable and unique in the same way that Joni Mitchell was unpredictable and unique. Great work.

Hi Robert,

Good song and well sung.

Only suggestion - the vocals are ceratinly initimate but they are popping right out of my speakers and too many sss's.ttt's and plosives. You may consider redoing the vocals a touch further away from the pop-screen and mic or just edit these out in your DAW.

Best Regards
Nigel

I like this a lot.

Nice selection and choice on the instruments. Finger picked guitar, Piano, and Steel. They set a good backdrop to your vocals.

Unpredictable but still familiar.

Nice.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
