The print function of BiaB has a lot of options, but I do not see the possibility to print a song in a chord (lead) sheet: (Unfortunately I am not able to copy a .jpeg image in this box) It is actually a succession of rectangles in which the chords are set and is used for rehearsal purposes...
Of course, copying the main screen of BiaB gives the "same" result but in the end, not exactly the same...

There is an option on the print menu to print Chords only. Not's not the chord sheet, but it prints without staff lines or notes. It might be enough. Kind of "busker format"
BIAB for Windows Version 2019 (643) Windows 10 (1909)
In the Print Menu, Click on Chords and Treble Clef. Uncheck the others. What you'll get will be a chord chart and no staff lines. Also set repeats to 1.

Now that I had a hint from Noel about how to post a photo, I join one of the kind of fram I mean (I had the impression my message had not been clearly understood..)
My question: Does anyone knows a software (possibly free!)able to do this (entering chords and get a frame showing the working flow of a song..)
Wow, I have never seen this format for chord presentation. Do you know where this comes from? Is it a Germany thing?
I have never seen this either. In fact I would find it very difficult to follow a progression using this method, probably because I haven't seen this prior to today. Chords above a staff is my preference.
Back in my day the only time we started panic buying was when the bartender shouted "last call"!
64 bit Win 10 Pro, the latest BiaB/RB, Roland Octa-Capture audio interface, a ton of software/hardware
It’s a format used in a book that everyone in Belgium, Netherlands, France, maybe Germany... seems to use for dixieland, New Orleans and Swing. People call it “the Baudouin”. Nobody really knows where it comes from, but it has almost every tune in the older jazz idiom. It even circulates on the www in PDF format.
Much as I dig the book, it’s often very confusing with different aaba or abca- tunes... it’s easy to get lost in the first, second repeats or codas. Ithas a system for that with arrows and brackets.
It’s also quite limited. Almost every chord is a 7th chord, as Matt pointed out, not much in the extension department. So, either for people who stick to chord tones, play mostly by ear or people who can thoroughly analyse on the fly. This last option is made difficult by the lack of melody.
On the other hand, it is so compact and readable, it can save you on gigs playing older jazz and in the low lands every musician seems to have a copy..
An odd format, but even though I seem to struggle with it, it’s widely used and appreciated.
Don’t know if this is a format we should be using, but definitely worth a try.
Biab, Kontakt, Sampletank and lots of nice libraries, from Fluffy audio to Abbey Road drums. Check out these great contemporary Jazz Styles: www.jazzstylezz.com
It's an unusual presentation. I also have never seen it. I guess once a musician is accustomed to it, it may be usable. My initial thoughts is that it is not particularly easy to follow. In its defense though is that I normally don't read chords, I read notation.

Hello, very surprised that nobody seems to know this format by you... Actually, it is not meant to learn a song, but only to play it ´(once y ve learnt it) following the workflow, just by reading the chords as they come. The ex. I have joined is "full" (all frames are writtten) but, of course you may leave "empty" frames to separate Intro, Verse or chorus. I enclose another file with Intro, verse and chorus... Actually, BiaB is doing the same thing with another frame.. And I do not see what would prevent me to write "complicated chords" in each frame (or half frame, or Quarter frame). Bernard
I guess the only limitation for 'complicated' chords would be space, so the font would have to be smaller?
This could be a memory-jogging guide for performance, much as iRealPro is used on an iPhone or iPad. You don't need the upper extensions if you know the song but just want a quick reference for what in general comes next.
Anyway, now that we know what this format is (thank you), this thread started with a request for BIAB to be able to print a chord sheet in this format. To that, assuming it's an added option,
+1
