Hi All, It's been a bit busy lately, but I thought I would share something new - this is called San Antonio. Another lyrical gem, Bob. Clever parallel structure of the verses. The vibrating guitar adds a nice touch to the mood of the song!

U.S. place names have a long history as song titles in Australia: a large part of our cultural cringe.
I assumed it was in the dry lands but had to confirm by looking it up - Texas' 2nd most populated city.
Hwy Ten to the Golden burning state.
A solemn, sad rewrite of Route 66's depression (economic) migration as an emotional leave taking.
Nicely done.

Good to hear another enjoyable ballad from you. Nice images, like "Driving fast through the seasons" describing both the driving feel and nature. Simple but beautiful chord progression. Great band, the baritone guitar fits excellently the mood. Your break hasn't affected your excellent vocal delivery.
