Hey, everyone! Sorry if this question should have been out into the "beginners" category, it was a judgment call not to.

Sometimes I just want to get a realdrum track, and that's it, rendered to the tempo of my project. I know how to render (I just solo the desired track and render). I know how to select the tempo (assign the bpm).

What I'm asking is, what is the most straightforward way to bypass the whole style (irrelevant) and obviously chords (irrelevant) thing and just load the realdrums, assign a tempo, and if needed perhaps select which measures get drum "substyle abc" changes (I know how to do this), and then render.

For example, I bought a realdrum pak last year or so. I know where they are in the file directory. Starting from there, what is my most efficient route?

How do you start with a "blank" project? How best to then, having that blank project, load the desired realdrum track? Once I have that, I know what to do.

I can get there now, at least I've done it in the past, but it seems like I'm using very roundabout ways. I'll bet there is a super simple way... right? Thanks!
