This is a great question, and one that has been asked several times previously.

One thing is that it will depend to a degree on the ability of your audio equipment to reproduce the additional quality of the Audiophile.

One member created a graph from a spectrum analyzer that shows the additional dynamic range of the Audiophile version. WMA (compressed) on the left, WAV (Audiophile) on the right.
