It definitely is unnerving, especially when it's in an area I frequent.
I don't understand what makes people behave that way. And this happened the day after we received notice to take our annual active shooter training. Ah, the irony.
I remember living in the Northern Virginia area during the DC sniper timeframe. What was scary was realizing that we had recently been to all the places where someone had gotten shot. Folks were scared to just fill up their cars with gas during that period.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
