Don't get me wrong, I like the simple music videos with beautiful cinematography but I LOVE videos that think out of the box. This video is relatively new and I came across it on youtube, it gave me a scrapbook feel. His name is Dan Black and the song is "Symphonies" http://www.vevo.com/watch/dan-black/symphonies/GBUV70901167
Do you like it?

Hope my first recommendation digested well:) If you liked "symphonies" by Dan Black, you may want to give the new Kid Cudi remix of it a shot. Here's where I found the free download link:

http://rcrdlbl.com/artists/Dan_Black/track/Symphonies_feat_Kid_Cudi

Lemme know how you feel about the remix- personally I thought it was amazing:)

This is really weird. When I open the link in your post, I get the following message:

We're sorry, VEVO is currently not available in your country

How on earth do you create a web page that is restricted to only part of the web?

You don't. You create a government that mandates filters on its nation's ISPs. China has little on Australia in this regard. The scary thing is, we seem to be following right behind in lockstep.

Can I understand from the last two replies that VEVO is actually a porn site? And the Oz Government filter saved me from opening it? I'll drink to that.

No, I'm saying that your government is spending a significant amount of money to "save" you from something that isn't porn, and not doing a very good job at it. Not like any other governments I can think of.

Seems like you may have another Bill Gates in the making, though.

Gents,

As for my 1st reply above, and I'll preface by apologizing up front if these post are not Spam but I am thinking this may be a "New and Improved" even "Smoother Span" than we have been accustom to dining on over the years.

My rationale . . . just have a look at the previous post made by the poster.

I hope I’m wrong, but just saying . . . to me anyway and at this point in time it is walking like a duck.

G'day Ryszard,
that report is over 2 years old and while there is significant noise being made about mandatory filtering here, in reality there isn't much happening. Many of the ISP's who put their hand up to be guinea pigs for testing have since withdrawn their agreement.

It is a political "warm potato" - not hot 'cos it's not really in the forefront of everyones thinking but certainly "warm". Just another of our wonderful Prime Minister and his party's worthless rhetoric. The real worry is they might actually succeed*.

However, there are some US sites that detect non-US IP ranges and restrict access to content to users outside the US. I imagine there are other countries doing this as well, but I've certainly seen US sites prevent me from accessing stuff. Interestingly they seem to be predominantely music related.

* Personally I'm in two minds about filtering. On the one hand, making porn and other undesireable content inaccessible to our pre- and teen aged children I believe has definite benefits, but I worry about the loss of freedom too. Once the flood gate is opened, where does it stop?

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
