Hello, I just upgraded to 2020 from 2019.
It wants to install into the c:\bb directory over the 2019.
Should I install it into a different location rather or just let let it?
What is recommended from others here on the forum?

Installing the 2020 non AP version you could do that. I made a backup first of my 2019 installation.
Audiophile is quite a bit larger, and i usually do that on a 2-3 TB internal extra drive. But that's not with a laptop.

Bernt Bernt, If you have purchased the 2020 upgrade, just install it over the top of your existing 2019 version. There's no need to install it in a different location. Your existing installation (and Styles, RealTracks) will be updated automatically by the new install. My definite understanding is to always upgrade over the top of your existing installation (and that's exactly what I do every year).

I’ve always just installed the new version where it wants to be (over the top of the old one). I do not have the Audiophile version.
I have my Realtracks on a different drive but let the bb stuff live on my C: drive (an SSD drive).

I just upgraded, and then followed up w the realtracks using the master realtrack installer. It suggested to me to install to the standard C:\bb, which is the default and which I have always used. Weirdly, the master-realtrack-installer complained, saying that this didn't seem to be the path to where BIAB is installed!
I double checked and indeed C:\bb IS the path where BIAB is installed and to where the upgrade was installed.
I told the master-realtrack-installer to ¤(&#/ and just to as I said-
After all, I do not accept that the program would know better than me ;-)
So installation of realtracks proceeded to the C:\bb path and everything seems to work as expected.
But there seems to be something strange with the installer for realtracks.

But there seems to be something strange with the installer for realtracks Yes, there was and the problem is fixed now. Thanks!
