Hi all, Here's a song about people in the parisian Subway. Philippe Janin is singing. With this flow of characters My film is falling in love And this nest egg of pictures which thus freezes time makes me think of a cage. From which hijacking Are these people hostages ? These morning ghosts, Walking the corridors, Have a sense of duty. They take the path. Their sky is concrete, So they got used to it. Even the fear of suffocation Can no longer stop them. Christian,
very modern feel in the rhythm but a lovely melody over the top.
Philippe's vocal has an odd reverb or room sound on it that doesn't match the one on the music - the solo makes this more apparent.
If they were both like Philippe's then it may give a subway sound but I suspect a subway would give a bigger sound and not as thin as his vocal sounds above such a well rounded arrangement.
I love the story, the melody, everything really - just not fussed on the reverb.
