Windows 10, 64 bit., Cubase artist 10.5, steinberg UR44, Biab 2020.
My problem is the Biab vst daw running under Cubese. I can't save my workflow.Error Report “There was a problem running the Band-in box .Please restart plug in a try again.” Scans old SGU files 2016-2018. fingers not 2020! Bug Report "The song selected could not be loaded. Trying to save it again before opening the sound." What's rougher.SGU Files read and worked by Biab daw ". rename i do nothing with it, i saved it again with the same name.After that BIAB vst daw no longer read .Error Report: "The song selected could not be loaded.
Somebody help what's the problem!

Problem is it can take some time to get anyone to respond to these issues. I follow the VST forum pretty close but I am a Reaper guy. So can't give any advice other then to help bump your message. I am not sure how to solve the problem, but reported it to development
HP Win 11 12 gig ram, Mac mini Sonoma with 16 gig of ram, BiaB/RB 2026, Reaper 7, Harrison Mixbus 11 , Presonus Audiobox USB96

Somebody help what's the problem! The thread heading indicates you are presently using the VST3 plugin. Have you tried using the equivalent 64 bit VST2 Band-in-a-Box plugin? Steinberg suggests trying the VST2 equivalent whenever a VST3 does not operate as expected. In other forums I visit I've read that Steinberg's VST3 standard leaves plenty of room for interpretation. So while a function is present there are several ways to implement functions. When the way a program implements a function doesn't match the way a VST3 implements the same function then there will be an issue.

Thank you Szzoli! What is the name of the SGU file you are trying to open? Can you send me the SGU file by email (aguy@pgmusic.com)? There is a problem opening song files in the plugin that contain grave/acute accents in the file name. We are aware of this issue and are working to fix it, but perhaps that was the problem in your song tile? If you can provide me with the SGU file then it will help me understand better what the underlying issue is here. Your feedback is greatly appreciated!
