The thread heading indicates you are presently using the VST3 plugin. Have you tried using the equivalent 64 bit VST2 Band-in-a-Box plugin? Steinberg suggests trying the VST2 equivalent whenever a VST3 does not operate as expected.

In other forums I visit I've read that Steinberg's VST3 standard leaves plenty of room for interpretation. So while a function is present there are several ways to implement functions. When the way a program implements a function doesn't match the way a VST3 implements the same function then there will be an issue.
