Hi Paul, I write regarding the bass. There are a number of MIDI styles that contains bass tracks that might be suitable for you. With MIDI, if the quality of the synth or a particular soundfont is sufficiently good, MIDI bass sounds are excellent. Here's a collection of basses in sfz format that was available on a free site a few years ago. I've used it a number of times -- some of the soundfonts are better than others. collection of sound font basses (link) -- 1 MB in size Individual sfz files can be added to sForzando (keep in mind that sForzando only plays one sound at a time). Just put the sZforzando soft synth on the Bass track and then load the single sfz file. At the moment I'm using the 005_Acoustic_B.sfz in a song. Regards, Noel
