Hi Neil and welcome. BIAB does indeed allow this, and it's free.
Many of us have BIAB on more than one computer (we use one at a time). The way this is done is called Activation (on BIAB 2017 or later). You get three each version [each year]. Just go ahead and install BIAB on your laptop. When it asks for activation, you will have used your second of three.

The XPro & Xtra Styles PAKs are not included in any Band-in-a-Box® package.

The Xtra Styles require the UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, or Audiophile Edition of Band-in-a-Box®. (Xtra Styles PAK 19 requires the 2025 or higher UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, or Audiophile Edition. They will not work with the Pro or MegaPAK version as they require the RealTracks included in the UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, or Audiophile Edition.
