Hey, all. I thought maybe there was a way to render just a designated region (like, say, bar 13 to bar 25) of a track (instead of the whole thing) to an audio file, but I can't seem to discover it. Thanks!
The latest version may be able to do what you require with the Multi-Riffs feature. You should be able to generate a specified number of bars, and then save a selected result as a WAV file.

BIAB & RB2025 Win.(Audiophile), Sonar Platinum, Cakewalk by Bandlab, Izotope Prod.Bundle, Roland RD-1000, Synthogy Ivory, Kontakt, Focusrite 18i20, KetronSD2, NS40M Monitors, Pioneer Active Monitors, AKG K271 Studio H'phones
It would be nice if the multiriff feature carried the name of the riff back into the audio track of the mixer rather than just having the audio track name be blank.
If we are talking druthers, I'd rather the couple different ways** you can render to .wav (etc) each simply have a <from.. to..> parameter (with "save all" being the default) when you go to save. Nothing simpler in the world than just doing it that way.
** File> save special> save song as audio file, or
If you are talking about rendering to a wav file then you just select/highlight the bars then drag the Master or tracks to the WAV drop in the top left.

Hey, Pipeline, thanks! I just tried that and it works really well aside from the small hassle of having the track go to the dragdrop folder (as opposed to where I want it to end up), and of having it named for me (as opposed to my naming it with the render). Still, it's handy sometimes to just render a region.
For now Real Band does this perfectly, exactly what you want.
Thanks Bob, but I'm not using Real Band and don't even install it.
