Here's a gypsy jazz tune, Gypsy Serenade.

I created an acoustic gypsy jazz band with acoustic bass, melody & rhythm guitars, fiddle, and accordion. Recorded in the Studio One DAW. The song contains the sometimes mysterious minor 6th chord.

There are doubled acoustic guitar parts for the rhythm section that I played on a Martin acoustic, and then two more rhythm guitar parts at a lower volume to fill out the section. One (on the left side) is the BIAB part from 1209:Guitar, and the other is my nylon string guitar.

I used two fiddle RealTracks to make one part by comping together the parts I liked from the BIAB parts. A bit of EQ helped make the fiddles sound like they were the same player and instrument.

The accordion parts were created by extracting notes from the fiddle and/or guitar parts using Melodyne software and then assigning the notes to the accordion sound in Studio One.
