if - or ONCE - PG finally grabs the bull by the horns and converts their code base to a state where ( by use of the many C++ cross-platform libraries available out there ) there is as little duplication of effort and BIAB source code is nearer to 90% cross platform - it will actually SAVE PG money in the long term as there will be less resource required to rewrite stuff for Mac.

Other DAW and music app developers have been doing this for ages and as result any release of new versions ( apart from bug fixes )
