I have a Jazz waltz I am playing back with the following Real Track Style

I deleted and changed a few measures in the introduction (hey, I wrote the tune...). Before I did this, it played fine. After I did this, different story.
When I first tried playing it (after changes), it sounded terrible, lots of muddied sounds and a lot of missed chords. As I muted the instruments one at a time (piano, bass, drums), I found they were still playing, but sounded much cleaner. When I had muted everything, I still had all the instruments playing, but now they sounded like I expected when they were unmuted. But much to my surprise, these instruments after muting played the old arrangement!
Turns out, there were two instances of each instrument playing, one the new arrangement, one the old. I have no idea how, hasn't happened before.
I tried unfreezing (told me there were no frozen tracks). With everything muted, I hit play and it plays with the old arrangement with no regeneration.
I am using Band-in-a-Box for Windows Version 2010 (294).
Any thoughts on how to get this tune to work????
