For now just fix the dozen old bugs people have been asking about for years.

Your overall post makes good points but I disagree with your use of the word "bug" concerning things posted about for years. From Wilipedia:

Quote:
A software bug is an error, flaw or fault in a computer program or system that causes it to produce an incorrect or unexpected result, or to behave in unintended ways.

Getting rid of the 255 bar limit for example has been in the Wishlist for years but that limit is explained in the documentation. Not a bug, to want to expand that number is a feature request.

You talk about attracting new customers which is certainly ok with me but don't use the word bug unless it's a true bug such as those with the plugin. You make it sound like PGM has been unresponsive to the same bug reports for 20 years which in turn scares away potential customers. Take another one, odd time sig support. Nowhere does it say Biab does that. 4/4 and 3/4 (6/8) is all that's natively supported and they talk about how 5/4 and some others will play correctly but not look right in notation. That's in the documentation too so it's not a bug either just another Wishlist feature request.

There are some issues with occasional endings and shots/holds that don't sound quite right or one instruments hangs on a bar too long. Some of those could be bugs in some RT's or something.

It's certainly fair to say PGM has ignored all these feature requests but they're not bugs.

If I'm wrong here and you are really referring to actual bugs in Biab then pick one and post it as a formal bug report in a new thread.
