maybe what you are suggesting is a 'destructive edit'. if you change the wav its changed for evermore. maybe the best thing is to produce your track and then change the volume of the hit in the song, not the overall style.

i'd do it in RealBand as i find that easier to edit rather than BIAB as I'm used to the interface after years of PowerTracks.

you can edit a bunch of tracks together or individually to change the mix of the hit so you have total flexibility.

if you have a song you can see what you need to edit not try and find wavs in the huge selection of realtracks. and you won't change the realtracks that make up the hits in the style - you may need them again sometime at the original volume. after all PG Music 'balance' their styles to sound good and the hits may be used in other styles where you wouldn't want to change them
