Tangmo, I would place this in the excellent genre!
I liked everything in this one. The pounding angry edge guitars and horns and the sax brought images of the fire and the chaos that comes with fire. Perfect!
Very clever use of BiaB.
Whenever I get something stuck in the back of my throat, I dislodge it by drinking a beer.

A well constructed, edgy piece which suitably reflects my mood today.
The local government here in Canberra has just declared a state of emergency. It's a preemptive measure at this stage, thankfully, owing to the awful weather conditions and large fire burning just south of the city.
Totally agree with rayc's comments about our federal government's denial and inaction.

that's two minutes of a brilliant musical fireworks.
Listened to it twiche in a row and if I wasn't lagging behind listening to and commenting on songs because of a two-week illness I would have listened to it another five times.

This is exceptionally good... a very engaging listen.
The fires down here have been catastrophic... it doesn't matter where I go, someone always knows a friend or a relative who has been personally touched by the infernos.
As I listened, I had my eyes closed and it was so easy to see the fires burning in my mind.

Tangmo, Very intricate funky tune. Busy, but in a very good way. Mix is excellent! I can imagine this would be a challenging for lyrics  But you know what I would have done? I would either leave it the way it is or just put some phrasings in specific places. Use vocals as sound elements, not specifically a story telling write. In any case, this was a great listen (actually a couple)! Thank you for sharing. Misha.
