I just upgraded to Catalina and need to upgrade my 2017 BIAB.
I notice that BIAB 2020 for Windows is out.
Two questions:
Will 2020 be out soon for Mac?
Will it have enough improvement over 2019 to make it worthwhile waiting rather than updating to 2019? I'm not a professional musician so a short wait would not be a problem.
Equipment: Yamaha 5'6" grand piano. BIAB for Macintosh 2017 --> 2020. MacBook Pro. Focusrite 2i2, Yamaha YC 88 keyboard

Thanks. I'll just upgrade to 2019 then. I doubt that at my level the new version will make a significant difference. Good plan. 2019 was released months later than the usual May/June from previous years — no surprise since much had to be rewritten and there are still issues to be worked out. I don't work for PG Music so this is a blind guess but I will be surprised if the Mac version of 2020 is released before the 4th Q of this year. I would be happy if I'm wrong.

An even better thing with the release of BIAB 2019 for Mac has been, that the team this time put quite some effort into fixing the faults reported.
This is by far the best release of BIAB I've worked with.

Hi folks,
Just went from Mac ‘16 to ‘19 and still have the time signature issue where a change of time signature for example 4/4 to 2/4 to get a short measure and immediately back to 4/4 causes the real tracks to drop out forcing me to adjust in my DAW. I discussed this three years ago with Kent in tech and he said he knew about it but didn’t know when or if it would get fixed. Funny thing is when I open an old sgu file done years ago on a Windows version Mac version reads it perfectly. Any feedback for me on this?
