We recently watched the excellent HBO series Chernobyl.
This tune would've made an outstanding soundtrack for it.
Great job of giving the feel of chaos yet maintaining the groove.

Hi Will, This is...  I love that bass sound. The backing really sizzles and the spoken narrative over such a vibrant backing is really well done. I found everything about this incredibly effective. I remember the Chernobyl incident. It truly was a horrifying time. You have captured the moment very well! All the best, Noel

A well constructed atmospheric piece- the voice overs just long enough to give context and solo guitar raising the temperature,so to speak.
A stylish soundtrack to a very disturbing event.

First off, great progression. There were a couple of unexpected "moves" to my years, but that so well fits the overall theme of the piece while still being musical and coherent. Second, the mix sounds good at mid-high volume on the phones, Lastly, the lead sections reinvigorated the piece very well.
I was hoping for a long, slow fade...but that's a choice made and I won't second-guess it. Very much enjoyed this. You are right about the long, slow fade... when I read this it immediately occurred to me that this is what I should have done... Anyway... I am glad that you enjoyed listening! Will

A nice composition Will...
About a very scary time...
I had to look up the date...
But I remember the events very well! I remember Chernobyl. That was a terrible accident.
I believe your song captured exactly what you said in your description. Adding the news report explained it all. Adding that guitar lead created a scary intense image of a scared individual.

I remember the day after this event, when we were staring at our garden from behind our window. On the radio was the message not using anything from out of the garden because of the radioactivity. Was a scary feeling. Today we were planning to watch a tv series about Chernobil...
Your song has a very good rhythm and tension in it, build up by the vocals. And then there came that excellent solo!
