Being an avid BIAB/ITouch user, the IPAD (no feminine jokes please!) is a step up from my ITouch, but it does basically the same things, in larger format...with a bit more RAM that compares favorably with my BIAB/Sonar-based Desktops.

There is also an application (under $10) for the ITouch/IPad, called IRealBook with the chord changes we look for at gigs or during practice sessions...no melody or lyrics, tho. Also, the IRealBook application now has a software editing program for computers that allows for much tweaking/editing and transposing of keyes.

Let me lighten your going to a gig "loaded-down", my brother...and we'll "trip the chords fantastic"...
