Hi Mike, or if anyone on this thread can help, I'm not a forum expert so please excuse any formatting Issues. I don't have a fancy setup but have Mac 2016 (build 161) which I get a ton of mileage out of. Hope to upgrade soon finances permitting.

I have tried a ton of styles etc. - I am hoping to find the purest "drone" backing track possible within BIAB. i.e., so I could have a static C7 (or any chord) for 8-32 bars, no style embellishments, leading tones, scale tones, arpeggios etc.

When experimenting with superimposing modes, scale choices, substitutions etc etc etc, this would help stay ultra focused.

Best I found so far were the string pads? I would like to emulate someone holding a static chord on a palatable clean synth sound forever if that makes sense. Purely for practicing purposes, not performance or song writing. Any help appreciated, Thank You. Layne
