I don't know if this has come up before ... I did search the forums and only came up with 2 non-related hits for "rewire."
As I stated before, I was disappointed that the 'DAW plug-in' was not working in Cubase. However, when I think about it, the concept is not much more than 'drag and drop' to the desktop anyway.
Now if rewire capability, at least as a slave, was available, that would be a game changer.
I've found rewire a bit fiddly, but it usually does a very good job of at least hooking up with Reason slaved as a 'softsynth' to Cubase. Rewire would permit BIAB/ RB syncing with any DAW. Then getting the tracks arranged there before importing them to Cubase (or any rewire compatible DAW) would be powerful and a real treat.
I'm sure it would greatly increase the market for BIAB as well.
Anyone know if this has been suggested/ considered?
