Thank you, and you're right mixing is hard for me, sometimes.

And here you go.

"Halfway There"

1:) The first ten, was outside and playing,
model cars, friends, and going swimming,
Cardinal ball games, with my dad.
The next ten, was guitars, and ladies,
Playing Baseball, with a ball made for Tennis,
standing under the street light, with my friends.

C:) Life was great, couldn't wait till I got older,
to do the things, to be cool, just like my brother,
little things, that made sense back then.
Growing up to be just like my father,
getting there, seemed like such a bother,
don't look now, I'm almost halfway there.

(Guitar)

2:) The next ten, was changing what had started,
Desert Storm, changed my life more than I wanted,
I made it home, to see my friends again.
The next ten, I settled down and I got married,
had a boy, that the wife and I cherished,
I think I know now, what my father had meant.

3:) The next ten, was about love, and making money,
time with family was a joy and sometimes crushing,
don't see my friends, like I used to do.
The next ten, not sure just how it's going,
getting older, and wishing I was younger,
I'll see my father, when I'm called up there.

(Chorus-Guitar-2nd Chorus)

C:) Life is tough, and I wish that I was younger,
to do the things, that I could do over,
little things, that made sense back then.
I grew up to be just like my father,
getting there, just like all the others,
all along, I was more then halfway there.

End:) all along I'm almost there.
