In Band-in-a-Box, go to Options | Core Audio /MIDI Setup. This is a shortcut to bring up the Mac's Audio MIDI Setup window.

Next, go to the Window menu and select Show MIDI Studio (hidden by default). If you have the Scarlett interface connected to your Mac, I think you should see it show up here. If it does not show up, perhaps you need to install driver software (download from manufacturer's website).

Go to MIDI Studio menu and click Add External Device. Click and drag to attach a "virtual MIDI cable" from the new device output to the Scarlett input.

By the way, you should also have a MIDI cable from the MIDI OUT of the RD700 to MIDI IN on the Scarlett.

Next, close and re-open Band-in-a-Box and go to Options | MIDI Input/output ports. Select the Scarlett from the MIDI In drop-down menu. Select MIDI Plugins for the outputs, provided you want Band-in-a-Box to play using your Mac's built-in sounds.
