Wrote this over 15 years ago and never got around to recording it. Had a tough time singing it. Amazing how your voice changes over the years (not necessarily for the better). Even the greats have trouble with and ageing voice.
I remember Paul McCartney saying he couldn't sing in same keys as he used to.
This is truly a great song and your vocal sounds fine.
I really enjoyed this song and look forward to hearing more from you.

Your voice sounds just fine so don't be afraid to sing. Your instrumentation was perfect for this and your mix was spot on. But it was those lyrics that took it over the top for me. What a fantastic song.
You should be very proud of this one!

Troy,
Really like your songwriting—this among a number of tunes I’ve heard from you. This is classic country, well-executed and well sung. I really like the structure of the lyrics: “As she walks,” “As they stand,” and “Thru the years”. And the hook on the chorus is compelling, with some sweet harmonies. Really well done! Enjoyed my listen. Oh, and love that baritone guitar solo!

Well constructed on narrative, lyrical, arrangement & melodic levels.
Vocals - really, REALLY, fit this song to a T.
No issues with plosives, sibilance or the other usual bugbears.
The Voicelive 2 work is excellent - a really good demo of it in fact.
Loved it.

Really nice work on this - I personally thought the vocals suited the instrumentation excellently. I love how well it flows, and found it nicely catchy as well. Nothing like a good old fashion classic country tune  Thanks for sharing!
