Enjoyed it a lot, liked the switch from pessimism to optimism and what it did for the song. The doubled vocal made it a bit harder for me to understand the lyrics. Great job overall.

A very cool song. Good overall production and sound. And vocal.
I listened before reading any of the comments - or your GH note - ans had the same reaction others did... a very Beatlesque sound and feel. In fact, my first thought was "This sounds like a song Ringo might sing on a Beatles record!"

Good stuff—agree it has a Beatles vibe to it. Some really nice touches to this throughout moving to the different segments of the song. Great collaboration—cool tune!

Interesting mix of cheerful poppy melody with very dark lyric in verses and positive message in chorus. Overall, leaves a happy smile on the listener's face. The band is enjoyable, the flute (or calliope?) sounds great and the lead guitar has nice Harrison vibe.

Well by the US calendar you were a day late posting this  A happy ditty for a gloomy rainy day! Janice said, "being a sentimental fool I love the lyrics!" Beatlesque, Peteresque & Leonesque...whatever it's super cool. We agree with Dave regarding George being under rated and his slide playing is unique which you well captured. And the sitar addition iced the cake. Hey, y'all sang it well too! J&B About the technology -- some how "every time the cell phone vibrates" just doesn't sing well Janice & Bud Thanks for that I'm sure Leon will appreciate his vocal being referred to as Leonesque. Peter, it sounds like George Harrison showed up and inserted some of his signature sound with that slide stuff going on! I like the way this drifts from a country sound to a beatlesque pop sound! Almost everybody mentioned your Beatle-ish style, and I'm no exception on that.
There are many instruments involved and that gave a lot of joy to the song, although the lyrics tell something else.
You made a very cool song with this one, My compliments!
