a usability thing, if I change style of a tune even if I have "frozen" the tracks my intention is to hear the tune reflected in the context of the new style, so something has to give. BIAB should probably re-generate in the context of the new style and have either a "revert" button or simply if the user re-selects the original style that in itself will remember the previously "frozen" content. All of this means caching on the file system but nowadays when you can buy a 1TB drive for $100.00 bucks who cares.

So now I have to unfreeze and select the new style , re-generate i.e. "play" and to boot I can't come back to the original frozen settings because they are gone.

Unless there is some policy for this that is controlled in the prefs that I don 't know about.
