Hi This behaviour in midi is normally caused by overlapping notes. Each midi note sends a note on and a note off after the note duration. If you send another note of the same pitch before the fist note has sent its note off it continues to play because you have sent 2 note on and it only received one note of. You can see this in the piano roll view you can deal with it here and most Daws like Cakewalk will run a cal program to cure this There has been a thread about this a few weeks ago Link here https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=573907#Post573907You don’t say if this is a midi from the net or midi you have recorded but it makes no odds you can still edit it. Just look for overlapping notes. Mike
