Hi, 'cubanpete'...

This composition of yours, Ain't The Same Without You, is an elegant thing to listen to, a ballroom dancer's dream. The instruments -- the hushed rhythm of the drums brushwork, the calm, elegant bounce of the bassline, and, in particular, the piano that sounds as though it's accompanying a singer -- have an amazing, human-feeling presence and sound. Were they Real Tracks? Regardless, even the details of the production such as the 'just enough' application of reverb, lent a wide, spacious ambience to the presentation.

It's a fine example of how jazz music can be both 'cool, and 'warm', at the same time.

Sincerely,

LOREN
