Or - until PG just properly makes some - You can get pretty far with the Pop8thsSteady bass RealTrack by setting the track's timebase to Half Time (add Force to Simple if it's still too varied)!  Bass usually copes very well with even the most extreme of tempo ranges, so in theory this could be just the thing. EDIT: Found an even better one - Bass, Electric, PopPower4s - and we have a winner!
