A while ago I came across this video;
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0oI2iFrzA0o
Then I was curious if it was already some VST or other plugins that could do it automatically.. And it WAS ! In Reason, there is this plugin called NEGATE, that does exactly that... https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack-extension/negate/

So I gave it a try, and made a whole bunch of songs, to see how good it could be..

I uploaded some of those to my dropbox, so if someone is curious, like me, u can download it, and have a listen. I just put numbers on the song, to see how many can guess what song it is made from. Some are Classical Songs, some are from world known Pop/Rock songs.

In SOME songs, the WHOLE arrangement of the song can sound good, being inverted, or NEGATED.. In other songs, it just sound TO MUCH out, and/so the Melody only might sound good NEGATed/INVERTED...In other songs again, it does not sound good at all. It depends solely on the song structure... But, ok, since the video gives only ONE example of a successful inversion of a classical song, I'll give some more of more modern songs... wink

So here is the link to my test songs; Dropbox, Negated songs
