Hi I would have thought that the best way to do this is with midi patches. Using a midi solo track. Then enter notation on the beats bars required . Or am I missing something here
You can split the bars in that area - make them 2 beat bars (don't forget you have to tell the program when to return to 4 beat bars, too). Then you will have the control you are wanting.
