Frustration-Free Design
As with every UJAM Instruments product, MELLOW benefits from our frustration-free design philosophy meaning anyone can use this product to make music faster, better and easier, regardless of their music production experience level. Just follow the simple controls on the user interface to easily trigger one of over 40 styles and 450 phrases to use in your tracks.
For those that want more control and are comfortable playing the keyboard, our brand-new Instrument mode will let you access the whole of MELLOW's meticulously sampled fretboard with your MIDI controller, complete with dead notes, full stops and satisfying slides.
That's why EZKeys and EZDrummer are still in version 1 because they are well thought out and designed.

Today, Toontrack announced that the official release month for EZbass will be May 2020. As already announced, EZbass is Toontrack’s highly anticipated bass software instrument and the next core title in the company’s widely popular EZ Line of products.
“A bass instrument with the same intuitive design and flexibility as our other EZ Line products has been missing on the market and is something that our customer base repeatedly has asked for. EZbass falls perfectly in place to fill the gap between EZkeys and EZdrummer 2 and we can’t wait to see and hear what our customers will do with it in May and beyond,” says Erik Phersson, Toontrack’s Head of Development.
In addition to carefully sampled bass tones, EZbass will include MIDI as well as a host of features to aid the user in quickly and effortlessly adding bass to their songs. Aside from the soon-to-be-released EZbass, the EZ Line includes EZkeys, EZmix 2, EZdrummer 2 and a wide range of expansion content.

good to know EZBass is coming soon. I think its hard to compare the toontrack products or UJAM even to the BiaB plugin. All these other products are one instrument plugs, all are based on midi patterns. You have to buy multiple packs to get many styles. they do give pretty good results, but it takes 5 times the work to get 5 tracks.
I get that both of your points is that the plugin could use some small changes. Pipeline wants better mute/solo buttons. JJJ what would you like to see change?
Me personally i'm okay with the GUI for the most part. I have gotten used to the way to mute or solo tracks how to select them to sync play. Not that I would hate upgrades, I just really want the key advertised features fixed.
It is always interesting to hear what others think would help.

Me personally i'm okay with the GUI for the most part. I have gotten used to the way to mute or solo tracks how to select them to sync play. Add me with Pipeline on this item. It is simply a show stopper for me! It only takes me a few minutes to push the crazy buttons so that everything stops and my frustration level goes through the roof.  But you guys know that already!

Me personally i'm okay with the GUI for the most part. I have gotten used to the way to mute or solo tracks how to select them to sync play. Add me with Pipeline on this item. It is simply a show stopper for me! It only takes me a few minutes to push the crazy buttons so that everything stops and my frustration level goes through the roof. But you guys know that already! Personally, I think that PGMusic should incorporate every improvement that Pipeline has given us! His BiaB to Studio One chord transfer add on saves me a ton of time.
Life is short so make sure you spend as much time as possible on the Internet arguing with strangers.

I have gotten used to the way to mute or solo tracks how to select them to sync play. You should not have to get used to it. See you have cracked the code, got pass the Dungeon Master and killed the evil Warlord but the new user to the Plugin would have go through a lot of frustration and spend a lot of time to get to that level. 202 New RealTracks Released with Band-in-a-Box 2026!
With Band-in-a-Box® 2026, we've released 202 incredible new RealTracks (in sets 468-488) in a variety of genres—featuring your most requested styles!
Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums). There are new “smooth jazz” styles (4), which include a RealTracks first: muted trumpet, as well as slick new smooth jazz brushes options for drums. Blues lovers will be thrilled—there are more “classic acoustic blues” styles, including guitar (5), bass (4), and drums (10) with blues master Colin Linden, featuring understated and tasty background acoustic soloing, plus brushes drums and acoustic bass. There are also new electric blues RealTracks, including electric blues with PG favorite Johnny Hiland (3) and soulful electric slide guitar from Colin Linden (4). If you love funk & gospel, there are great new options this year, including gospel organ (3) from Charles Treadway, as well as new funk, tango, and rock ’n’ roll drums (3) and bass (1). Country, & Americana (Sets 483–488):
Our new country & Americana RealTracks deliver a rich collection of acoustic, electric, and roots-inspired styles! We have new country pop (9) with legendary guitarist Brent Mason. There is also a potpourri (14) of bouzouki, guitars, banjo, and more, perfect for adding texture and character to contemporary acoustic arrangements. We’ve added funky country guitar (5) with PG favorite Brent Mason, along with classic pedal steel styles (5) featuring steel great Doug Jernigan. There are more country songwriter styles (8) that provide intimate, rootsy foundations for storytelling and modern Americana writing. Finally, we have “background soloing” acoustic guitar (12) with Brent Mason — simpler, but still very tasty acoustic lines designed to sit beautifully behind vocals or act as a subtle standalone solo part.
