Check out my redo of Chaka Kahn (AInt Nobody) All BIAB tracks.

Aint Nobody (Chaka Kahn ) Cover MusicManButte Traooer456

Ain't Nobody I turned it into a pop Rock Song.

This track has a change of chords and the lyrics are more on. I did 2 other versions. Enjoy!!! I created all the music for this. More bass added and delay it sounds cool so enjoy. This is one of my favorite songs. I made it into a "Rock Pop Song" Leave me some love and lets make this go viral. I I've been working on this for the last four days; I put a lot of work into this one. Enjoy your listen and let me know what you think. You can download my version by hitting the little arrow. Here are the Lyrics

Ain’t Nobody (Chaka Kahn) Cover MusicManButte Lyrics

Verse]
Captured effortlessly, that's the way it was
Happened so naturally, I did not know it was love
The next thing I felt was you, holding me close
What was I gonna do? I let myself go

[Pre-chorus]
And now we're flying' through the stars
I hope this night lasts for ever
oh oh oh oh

[Chorus]
Ain't nobody, loves me better
Makes me happy, makes me feel this way
Ain't nobody, loves me better than you

[Verse]
I've been waitin' for you, it's been so long
I knew just what I would do, when I heard your song
You filled my heart with a kiss, ya gave me freedom
You knew I could not resist, I needed someone

[Pre-chorus]
And now we're flying' through the stars
I hope this night lasts for ever
oh oh oh oh

[Chorus]
Ain't nobody, loves me better
Makes me happy, makes me feel this way
Ain't nobody, loves me better than you

[Pre-chorus 2]

I make my wish upon a star
I hope this night lasts for ever
I make my wish upon a star
I hope this night lasts for ever
oh oh oh oh

[Chorus]
Ain't nobody, loves me better
Makes me happy, makes me feel this way
Ain't nobody, loves me better than you

[Bridge]
At first you put your arms around me
Then you put your charms around me
I can't resist this sweet surrender
On a night so warm and tender
We stare into each other's eyes
And what we see is no surprise
Got a feeling most with treasure
And a love so deep we cannot measure

[Chorus]
Ain't nobody, loves me better
Makes me happy, makes me feel this way
Ain't nobody, loves me better than you

Ain't nobody, loves me better
Makes me happy, makes me feel this way
Ain't nobody, loves me better than you

Ain't nobody, loves me better
Makes me happy, makes me feel this way
Ain't nobody, loves me better than youooooooooooooooo

Is this composition really even older than me ? shocked

I think we agreed upom respecting the copyright regulations. Even if it's well-done: It's an illegal cover version.

Stay healthy,

From my understanding is this. As long as you are not making any gains off of it it is not illegal. I did this for the learning process on how to properly use "Band in a Box" so I did this version as an educational learning tool. I.E. because I don't know how to read music, and or chord structure's. I am teaching myself through self learning and with the help of a guitar teacher here where I live so it is being used as a fair use, and educational purpose. There is no copyright infringement intended. In our copyrightable laws, it can indeed be used as an educational purpose under the fair use laws. And the reason that I put in my description "Let me know what you think" is because it is for criticism, and that is also in the fair use law. And this is not the exact song, because there are some changes in the song, because there are many different verses in this song. I took out some of them. And in our country this is defined as the fair use law: And I quote: Not being smart; I just know the laws about fair use. SO, I am within a perfect legal right to use this song or any other song; Just as long as I am using it as an educational purpose to have other people teach me how to play an instrument A.K.A. Guitar, and chord structure, and for criticism on my rendition of the song. "As I said let me know what you think."

In its most general sense, a fair use is any copying of copyrighted material done for a limited and “transformative” purpose, such as to comment upon, criticize, or parody a copyrighted work. Such uses can be done without permission from the copyright owner.

Copyright law provides for the principle, commonly called "fair use" that the reproduction of copyright works for certain limited, educational purposes, does not constitute copyright infringement. ... Amount: The amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole.

Per the User Showcase rules (at the top of the opening page to this forum) a member's must own all the rights to the song that is posted.

If i could post covers, excluding PD songs (for which we do actually own all rights) I’d never write another tune! smile

FWIW, etc., etc.

Cheers. Be well.

Most of your "understanding" of US copyright law is wrong. You should learn more about copyright. Fair use applies to parodies, and educational purposes and neither of those apply to this. Educational uses permitted are clearly defined in the law. Anyone can copy the copyrighted material for personal use and education as well but... You can not publish it so that others can hear it. It doesn't matter that you are not making any money from it. It doesn't matter that you made changes and took out verses. It doesn't matter that you didn't intend to infringe. Fair use of copyrighted material is clearly defined and educational uses are mostly restricted to classroom instruction and use.

Check out the Harry Fox agency and YouTube copyright permissions so that you're at least in the grey area with YouTube. Why do you think sampling raised such a ruckus? They were using 3 second samples and getting hauled into court over those short uses. For copyrighted material there is no such thing as fair use in something released to the public.

A good book to read on this is This Business Of Music.

Essentially, even if you ignore all what I just said, PG music asks that to post your music here that you have all rights permission and ownership of the material. A license from Harry Fox agency gives you the rights needed to comply with PG music rules.

I just thought that my purchase from the PG Music corporation gave us the right's. I am also a radio D.J. So their licensing should cover that doesn't it?

I did e-mail the company that handles the rights to this song and told them of my intentions to post my rendition of this song, and if there was any objection I would take it down. I have not heard anything from them as of yet.

PG gives you the right to use everything in their products royalty free when you purchase it. It has absolutely nothing to do with copyright infringement of copyrighted material. You're free to use it for original music.

Radio DJ.... Nope, the radio station is responsible to pay performance royalties for every song played on the air across their station and streaming. Just being a DJ doesn't cover you off the job. It's not you that's covered, it's the music under their control. The PRO audits them, and they submit play lists and pay for each play.

Again.... Neither of those are relevant to the issue.

Harry Fox. You can also check into putting it on YouTube as a video. They will monitize it to pay the copyright owner. It's still a grey area in copyright law but it looks like it might be acceptable to many copyright owners. Some don't like it and YouTube will remove the video.
If YouTube allows you to do that, there is a subforum here for YouTube videos featuring BB tracks. You can post it there.

Hope this helps.

That's like saying.... Hey I ripped off your song. Here I am .. sue me.

Remember all the kids who got bills for past due royalties from the music publishers for posting songs for listening and downloads they got from Napster? Many of them owed thousands of dollars.

Hopefully all you will get is a cease and desist from them and remove it immediately.

The way to buy the rights would be to contact Harry Fox agency. The copyright owner will generally direct you to the Harry Fox agency as they are the clearing house and licensing coordinator.

None of that gives you a pass on copyright laws. Sorry. I'm not trying to be argumentative either but you should pull this song down and get a copy of a book on copyright law written for musicians and read it.
