This is really good. Loved those backing tracks that fit your vocal like a glove. Outstanding lyrics sung by a very strong vocal. I agree that your vocal did get a tab loud in certain areas. Not a show stopper but if you could control them it would just add the finishing polish to this diamond. I use Waves Vocal Rider. Thanks Mario. I use Mixcraft 8, Windows I assume this works with it and is easier than doing EQ, compression and all that other stuff that I do not know how to use.

Dear Ms. 'Belladonna'... You write some of the most sublime lyrics I've ever heard/read: "So, if you’re going for the gold
Go where fortunes can’t be stole.."It's all there, in two lines, the contrast between the earthly, crazed, soul-scarring lust for the 'yellow metal' and the more difficult, yet ultimately more rewarding spiritual search for the inner gold of redemption. That 12STACS.STY Slow 12-String Guitar you used? An impeccable choice. Combined with your philosophical, yet simply comprehended lyrics, The Ghosts of Eldorado comes off with an almost mythical feel and tone. I'd bet that the late, great movie director John Huston would have jumped at the chance to include your song in his now-classic film, "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre". It perfectly describes the subtext of the plot. Ms. Evans, 'The Muse' is working through you like a charm  !!! LOREN (a.k.a. 'bluage')

Very nice write on this one—admire the use of near rhymes to keep your lyrics on point, not easily done and they all work really well. And the melody and classic country backing work well. I think I would have liked you to go up on that last “city of gold” in the chorus before the outdo, just to give it a change up . . . and maybe again going up on “Eldorado” in the second to last line in the outro. Just a suggestion to think about. Nicely done!
