Hi, i am Italian and of course I use a keyboard with the layout in Italian. Until the BIAB 2016/2017 version, when I had to insert the caret sign (^), on the Italian keyboard, it is above the ( ì ). I did the update to the 2019 version and then to 2020 but when I use the same combination of keys to create the caret sign nothing happens and I only hear the sound of the metronome. What has changed, should I enable something? Yes, i know I can insert the caret sign using the right mouse button to access the bar preferences, but I was used to typing it quickly from the keyboard ... Renato

Hello,
Try entering the "caret" symbol followed by a space.

Hello Andrew, unfortunately nothing changes! Have you tried it this way? The only way I have found to solve the problem is to set the keyboard layout in the USA and therefore with the shift-6 combination I can insert the "caret" symbol. Renato

Build 406 should fix this problem. This is still in pre-release testing, but you can try it out if you wish. If you encounter any problems, you can always install the previous patch (403) to revert to the shipping build. https://nn.pgmusic.com/pgfiles/support/patches/bb2020_mac_update_build406.pkg

I downloaded and installed version 406 and now inserting the "caret" with the Italian keyboard works!!
