I've noticed, that on the Demo Song "The Cliffs Of Moher (jig) - Pennywhistle" there is an "artist" Track playing some kind of a whistle. When I open the Notation, I was astonished, that the notes of this artist track were written down. Was this done automatically or done by hand? Can I therefore do an Audio recording of me playing the Sax and BiaB would recognize and write down automatically the notation of what I'm playing?
Yes, you can create your own Artist Performance Track according to Andrew's post in the User Track Forum.
Here's what he said: 7. Artist Performance Files.
These are audio files, that you put on a track, that can also have the MIDI transcription of it. People hear the audio, and see the MIDI in notation/guitar tab etc. For example, if you are a great bluegrass fiddle player, you could put your songs in this format. People can listen to your real playing, see the notes on screen, slow them down etc. - all inside Band-in-a-Box where they can do other things like solo/mute other tracks, mix them etc.

I didn't want to appear to challenge you Matt and as I shared on another thread about Presonus Notion, I don't read music and I'm clueless. Although I know that's notation on the screen, it's accuracy is above my pay grade. I depend on you folks that are more knowledgeable than me to keep me from getting too far off track. knowing you'll kindly correct me if I am incorrect.
