Matt Finley Veteran Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 26,889 Hudson Valley & Lake George NY	I’m not a keyboard player so I do not use it in performance. I use it in BIAB and a DAW, plus my music notation programs. I love the convenience of a hardware MIDI synth (except for rendering, which requires playback in real time). But my Roland unit is old, and overkill. If I had to start over, I would go the software route. BIAB 2025 Win Audiophile. Software: Studio One 7 Pro, Swam horns, Acoustica-7, Notion 6, Song Master Pro, Win 11 Home. Hardware: Intel i9, 32 Gb; Roland Integra-7, Presonus 192 & Faderport 8, Royer 121, Adam Sub8 & Neumann 120 monitors.
