The energy in your voice one can almost tough. Nicely done! One small thing: watch out your voice stays at the same distance when you say all these words in your mike. At the moment, I'm holding the mic in my hand and, of course, the distance from it varies. Once I get a stand, I'll be at the same distance from it all the time - hopefully! PS - when you get a mic stand also get a pop filter. I think my wife has started to show the first signs of dementia. You're kind - I hadn't considered the potential problems of doing this live when writing this ;-) ... but thank you for the compliments! Mario: Thank you :-) I do now have a pop filter! but obviously the mic's incredibly sensitive, still ... or I'm still way close to it. Hopefully a mic stand shall solve both issues by keeping me at a fixed distance from the mic itself? I sadly can't afford to splash out on a new mic altogether right now, so let's hope that that would solve things. My website

Mic stands are good for distance and a pop screen reinforces that distance - both are cool tools that can be replaced by home bits n pieces. Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
