I have a couple of questions about the VSC DXi software synth that came with my BIAB a couple of years ago.

1. Has this software been replaced by a later version VSC-3? If so, how does it compare?

2. Looking at the help for VSC DXi, I can see that the MIDI implementation supports a "Scale Tune Feature" which provides a micro-tonal capability (to fine-adjust the notes of the octave to scales other than the default equal temperament). If I can figure out the MIDI bytes to set the scale tuning, should it be possible to send them to the VSC DXi using the BIAB capability to send SysEx messages? Not sure that works for software synths?

Thanks for any help,
John
