Hallo, ich erbitte wieder einmal Hilfe und Rat:
Ich (BiaB 2016 für Mac) soll Karaoke-playbacks für Wienerlieder (z.B. „Die Reblaus“),anfertigen – man kann sich seine Aufträge ja nicht aussuchen ... (Hat aber auch was Spezielles an sich!)
Nur, ich finde partout keinen passenden Style, auch nicht in der riesigen Auflistung des UltraPack; mit Suchbegriffen im Filter (welche könnten/sollten das im vorliegenden Fall sein?) komme ich ebenfalls auf keinen grünen Zweig.
BiaB lässt im Bereich Jazz, Blues, Country, Rock etc. wirklich keine Wünsche offen, aber wie ist es bei spezieller Populärmusik? Dass Schrammel-Musik nicht vorkommt, ist zur Not verständlich. Aber etwas Ähnliches täte es auch, für die „Reblaus“ etwa nach Art der Interpretation von Wolfgang Ambros, s. Youtube).
Was im Wienerlied oft vorkommt und als Problem zu beachten ist, ist der Wechsel von 4/4- bzw. 2/4- und ¾-Takt, ebenfalls viel rubato, ritardando und accelerando. Ich hoffe, jemand kann mir weiterhelfen!

Hallo el_52,
es gibt eine Reihe Styles, die gut passen könnten, die findest du bei Band in a Box unter dem Stichwort Polka, "alpenländiche" Stile auch auch unter Oberkrainer. Da sind RealStyles zu finden, gemischte und Midi-Styles. Die sind teilweise umfangreich instrumentiert (mit Tuba, Bläsern und was weiß ich, viele mit Akkordeon), so dass du nach Bedarf einzelne Spuren ausstellen musst. Das Wolfgang Ambros-Beispiel bei Youtube, dass ich gefunden habe ist ja nur mit Gitarre und Akkordeon, oder meinst du noch ein anderes?
Ich habe zum Beispiel folgende Stile gefunden, die gut passen, wenn du nur die Gitarre- und Akkordeon-Spuren wählst, es gibt aber noch viele andere, suche mal ind en Stylepaketen unter dem Stichwort Polka oder Akkordeon:

Rubato ist mit Band in Box machbar (mit der F5-Taste im entsprechenden Takt Tempowechsel angeben), aber für ein authentisches Rubato nur mit "Handarbeit", also mehrere leicht unterschiedliche Tempiwechsel hintereinander. Das "MIDI SuperTracks Set 25 - Killer Accordion" enthält möglicherweise geeignete Tracks, aber teilweise brauchst du dafür dann eine aktueller Programmversion, als deine Version 2016. Wenn du auf der PGMUsic-Webseite im Suchfeld "Polka" eingibst oder "Accordion" bekommst du Links zu Stylepaks mit Hörbeipielen.

Danke, Brille, für Deine rasche freundliche Antwort.
Warum scheinen bei meiner Suche (Subgenres > Polka: UltraPak=23, gefunden 19) die von Dir genannten und vorgeschlagenen Styles nicht auf?
Aber wichtiger: Wie und wo gebe ich die von Dir genannten Styles direkt ein, um sie aufzurufen?
PS: Besteht die Möglichkeit, screenshots beizufügen? Das würde die Problemschilderung und Verständigung oft erleichtern.

Hallo el_52, stimmt, die Styles kannst du in deiner 2016 Ultrapak Version tatsächlich nicht finden, denn die sind neueren Datums, das hatte ich nicht im Blick. Denke über ein Upgrade auf die aktuelle 2020er Ultrapak Version nach, da sind dann auch alle aktuellen Realtracks dabei(ich habe gerade heute dazu eine rabattierte Angebots-E-Mail von m3c.de bekommen). Du kannst auf der Pgmusic-Shopseite aber natürlich auch Style-Pakete einzeln nachkaufen. Ein Verzeichnis aller verfügbaren Realtracks findest du hier: https://www.pgmusic.com/realtracks.all.php?os=macWenn du auf der Seite nach dem Stichwort "Polka" oder "Oberkrainer"suchst, findest du schnell ein paar für dich interessante Realtracks mit Sounddemos dazu und Links zu den Stylepaks, in denen sie enthalten sind. Die kannst du dann dort direkt auch bestellen. Das RealTracks Set 248 : "Oberkrainer! Folk Music From the Alps" könnte zum Beispiel für deine Zwecke passen, wenn du die Tuba ausstellst. VG

Hallo Brille, nochmals besten Dank!
Hab die Styles ausprobiert - zu viel (Wiesenfest-)Drive, der Ambros ist für mich mehr layed back (eben Wiener Gemütlichkeit). Und zu hohes Tempo kann nach meiner Erfahrung nur bis zu einem bestimmten Punkt reduziert werden, weil sonst der Ton zu leiern beginnt. Ich werde mir das selber einspielen; die Instrumente hab ich, ist letztlich wohl einfacher.
Noch etwas Grundsätzliches: BiaB hat ein Benutzerhandbuch, das den Namen kaum verdient. Viele Suchbegriffe gehen einfach ins Leere, weil der Text nicht mit alternativen Suchbegriffen hinterlegt ist. Der Suchbegriff „Taktartwechsel“ liefert z.B. null Treffer. Gefunden wird der Sachverhalt unter „Taktwechsel“, was aber nicht präzise oder zumindest ambig ist.
Mein Desiderat (und sicher nicht nur das meine!): Jemand mit Deinen Kenntnissen sollte (für anständiges Geld vom Konzern) ein Benutzerhandbuch verfassen nach der Art von Stefan Schwalgin: Finale – Einstieg in die Praxis. Dort wird das Programm in all seinen Aspekten mit Klarheit und Präzision vorbildlich erschlossen, sodass für den Nutzer (fast) kein Wunsch offen bleibt. Von dieser Hilfestellung ist BiaB leider Lichtjahre entfernt. Da wird seitens des Herstellers am falschen Ort gespart, denn jedes komplexe Musikprogramm ist letztlich nur so gut/so brauchbar wie sein Benutzerhandbuch. Das Leben ist zu kurz, die Nerven sind zu kostbar und der Preis des Produkts ist zu hoch, um die Kunden so viel im Nebel herumtappen zu lassen. Ich hoffe, mein Wunsch findet bei Dir ein offenes Ohr!

PGMusic ist kein Konzern, noch nicht mal im Ansatz eine große Company.
Aber du hast natürlich grundsätzlich Recht, das Handbuch lässt viel zu wünschen übrig, sehr viel. Es gibt auch keine gedruckte Sekundärliteratur zum Programm, nicht in Englisch, geschweige denn in Deutsch.
Ich hatte deshalb tatsächlich mal erwogen, eine Art How-To-Buch zu BiaB zu schreiben und darüber auch in Victoria mit Peter Gannon persönlich gesprochen, ein sehr netter Mensch übrigens.
Band in a Box hat eine sehr spezielle Zielgruppe. Ein sinnvolles Programm-Buch zu entwickeln, ist aufwendig. Diesem Aufwand gegenüber steht aber eine sehr kleine potentielle Käufergruppe im deutschprachigen Raum – und eine, die dann auch lieber PDF-kopiert, als Fachbücher kauft. Ich habe das Buchprojekt also wieder beerdigt.
Aber dieses Forum hier ist kein schlechter Ersatz, weil du zu vielen Fragen wirklich schnell eine Antwort bekommst. Auch der PG-Support ist flott, freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Liebe Brille,
das Benutzerhandbuch selbstverständlich gern in der lingua franca Englisch, damit es global vertrieben und genutzt werden kann. Technisches Englisch ist ja (vor allem wenn man auf Einfachheit abzielt) für jedermann leicht verständlich. (Für die speziellen Fachbegriffe könnte man ein deutsch-englisches Glossar beifügen, bzw. in den jeweiligen Nationalsprachen.) Das Benutzerhandbuch kann gern auch in pdf-Form sein. Entscheidend ist die übersichtliche, umfassende – und in der Anleitung präzise und detaillierte - thematische Aufbereitung (nochmals: „Finale Einführung in die Praxis“ als benchmark!) sowie die effiziente und zielführende Suchmöglichkeit (wie intelligente Suche funktioniert, zeigt Google: selbst wenn der Suchbegriff dem Suchgegenstand nur vage nahekommt oder man sich verschreibt – man kommt dennoch an den gesuchten Ort).
Gewiss, das Forum (danke Forum!!) ist eine großartige Einrichtung, aber die Problemlösung hängt immer vom Goodwill der Community ab. Oft hat man die Befürchtung, dass vielleicht niemand reagiert. Und man will ja auch nicht unbedingt immer als blöd dastehen ... Ein gutes Benutzerhandbuch sollte deshalb für ein gutes Produkt selbstverständlich sein. Ganz entbehrlich würde das Forum sicher dennoch nicht, aber es würde entlastet und müsste sich nicht mit Problemen herumschlagen, die sich dank einer wirklich guten Bedienungsanleitung erst gar nicht ergeben.

Ein externer Autor wird sich kaum dafür finden lassen, das wäre für ihn vollkommen unwirtschaftlich (du schreibst selbst, du hättest ein Benutzerbuch gern als PDF – das lässt sich dann natürlich auch noch beliebig kopieren).
Solch ein Buch kann nur von PGMusic kommen, aber die haben ja ihr Benutzerhandbuch, das ist dick und umfassend, aber du hast recht, nicht immer gerade zielführend zu recherchieren.
Übersetzt ins Deutsche (bzw. auf Stand gehalten) wird das Handbuch übrigens durch den Forumsadmin Ernst Leobacher.
