Other things I've also tried:
- Disabling all DX plugins using "InstalledCodec" from Nirsoft
- Renaming / Recreating 'Preferences' folder
- Tried switching to MME / WAS instead of ASIO audio driver (My soundcard is a Steinberg UR12)
- Applied last Bb Patch (build 715)
Still no luck ;(
Nevertheless after this long boot time Bb seems to behave normally... Have you tried disabling everything running in the background? Things like anti-virus, anti-malware, cCleaner, etc, as well as disabling your Ethernet card via the device manager?
I think my wife has started to show the first signs of dementia.
She said she can't remember what she ever saw in me!

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
